Cleaning River Vēršupīte

There is a wooden trail right behind the central office of the National Park, “Meza Maja”, offering a walk through a rare and interesting type of wetlands – black alder swamp. One of our tasks is to keep that trail clean, especially the river, which collects garbage from the nearby villages.
The surface of the swamp is a very sensitive type of environment, and we have to avoid stepping on the ground and leaving footprints, because they can remain there for more than a year.
And this is the most difficult part, climbing and jumping around the trees without touching the ground.
