We keep a good contact with other volunteers working in other parts of Latvia. One day we made a short trip to Rezekne, a small city near to the Russian border, where a big group of volunteers are preparing the European festival.
To improve team work and prepare people for the coming festival, they organized an event for all the youngsters of the surroundings. It included presentations about the home country of the volunteers, some games, traditional music and food. We were invited to participate in that international evening and to help with the festival.
There was a good relationship among the young people living in this place, around 50 of them taking part in the event.
