Nature School

Another usual activity in the National Park is Nature School –
environmental education classes for schoolchildren of different ages.
To learn more about the place we are working and to get in contact with the different groups, we assist Nature School teachers in some of the classes they organize in the Great Kemeri Bog. We also participate in some of the excursions provided by the guides of the Information Center of Kemeri National Park.

THE TUKUMS CONECTION

New volunteers are arriving, and new projects are starting to set up, so we have new possibilities for cooperation with other volunteers.

Thank to help and patience with kids of one of the guides in the park, we took the children from Tukums social center for a trip to visit the great bog. In that center a new EVS volunteer is just starting to work. We hope our cooperation with her will be rich with new activities prepared together.

There the children enjoyed a different way to expend the free time after school. We hope they learned something more about nature of the place they have the luck to live.
