One of the most hard jobs we just started in the park is to help to fix the wooden trail winding through Kemeri Raised Bog. The boardwalk is already some years old and some of the wooden parts need to be changed.
Our task is to move each one of the heavy new wooden planks into the bog up to the needed place, and the only way to do that is on foot.
We have to carry around 70 planks and walk an average of 2 km each time. It means that we can´t do more than 10 planks in one day if is not rainy, walking around 40 km in total. So we are starting to realize that this task is going to take us a lot of time, energy and backache to complete.
